๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ & ๐ฃ๐ผ๐น๐๐ฝ๐ต๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ๐ is a curation of my recent paintings that draw upon the sensory and perceptual differences intrinsic to my life as an autistic woman. The show will be on view for three days next month (Sept 15-17) with a fun and informative Community Reception planned for Saturday, Sept 16.
โฃMegan Sada, Assistant Manager of Operations Development at Meow Wolf, will be joining us to speak about the company’s path to becoming a Certified Autism Center™. Christina Angel, Executive Director of @nmautismsociety, is going to talk about the cool things they are doing to empower the autism community throughout New Mexico. I’ll share my experience of autism and the creative process, and talk about my recent collaboration with Popinjay Press, a progressive publishing company that creates diverse, inclusive, custom children’s books for the modern family.โฃ
โฃThe reception is free and open to the public, but guests will be encouraged to make a donation to Autism Society New Mexico. (20% of my art sales will also be donated:)โฃ
